Copenhagen Fashion Summit 2018
The Copenhagen Fashion Summit 2018 is set to take place on 16 May 2018 at the Copenhagen Concert Hall. This will be the sixth edition of the Summit that brings together leaders from the fashion sector including those in academia, non-profits, government and experts. The Summit, which will be patronized by HRH Crown Princess Mary of Denmark, will provide a platform for discussing the most important concerns in the fashion industry and their implications for the planet.
Sustainable Fashion Wales: A Fashion Revolution Show
Set to take place on April 28, 2018, the Sustainable Fashion Wales show seeks to fundraise and create awareness of sustainable fashion. The event will also showcase established and emerging sustainable fashion designers in Wales and in the greater UK.
This is a must-attend event for consumers of ethical fashion, designers, artists and educators all over the world. The event is part of the Fashion Revolution Week global campaign and all proceeds will be donated to Fashion Revolution.
Fashioned From Nature
London’s Victoria and Albert Museum will be holding its first exhibition in the UK, Fashioned From Nature, to explore the complex and interesting interaction between fashion and nature dating back from 1600 to date. The event will showcase fashionable clothing, new fabrics, innovative dyeing ideas as well as specimen inspired by natural history. Over 250 items will be on display including ethical fashion designs by Calvin Klein, Stella McCartney and many more.
The exhibition which opens on 21 April 2018 is an invitation for those interested in fashion to think about the processes and materials deployed in the creation of their clothes.
Eco Fashion Week Australia
Eco Fashion Week Australia will have its first ever edition starting November 23 through to 27. This international event is created by Zuhal Kuvan-Mills, an Australian fashion designer and slow fashion advocate. Through this event, Zuhal offers ethical artists and designers a global platform to showcase their work. It will bring together the media, business community, educators, policy makers, activists, fashionistas, artists and designers in a quest to raise awareness for eco-conscious fashion.
Sustainability Summit 2018
The 2018 Sustainability Summit will be held on March 22 2018 in London. One of the world’s biggest events on industry-wide sustainability, this summit gives anyone interested in environmental preservation the opportunity to network with influencers in government and business, connect with those in the sustainability movement, and be part of the global effort to create a sustainable market place. State of Fashion 2018
State Of Fashion will be making its debut on 1 June in Arnhem, the Netherlands.
